information about coronavirus

People are watching, listening to, and reading the news more than usual right now. When record daily drops dominate headlines and every minute brings new information about COVID-19, people become overwhelmed with the amount of information out there. As a thought leader, an advisor can take an overwhelming amount of information and pick out the most important points. We’ve developed an incredible amount of content and platforms in the last two months and took it a step further by creating a COVID-19 Resource Hub.

Introducing the COVID-19 Resource Hub

We’ve created so much content related to the coronavirus recently that it was becoming difficult to house it all on one website. Rather than scatter content on this hot topic throughout a website, we now have a platform we can install on a website that houses helpful blogs, webinars and videos, downloadable guides, and links to government or health related sites.

Webinar

The need to replace dinner seminars and live workshops with a digital substitute quickly became a reality, and we jumped on the opportunity to develop a webinar package on market volatility. In exchange for their email address, prospects can watch the webinar at their convenience, presented by the advisor. It includes targeted content for those nearing retirement, retiring, and recently retired, and provides context for recent market ups and downs.

New Downloadable Guides

Much of the information and messages out there can be overwhelming, and it may not prompt people to consider what they can do to protect themselves. Those nearing and in retirement will naturally have strong emotions when it comes to the idea of losing part of their nest egg in a down market or losing their jobs. This is the time when they’ll be looking for useful information. The COVID-19 resource hub houses our latest downloadable guides, “Market Volatility in the New Age,” and “COVID-19 401(K) Unemployment Guide.” These cover important topics like risk mitigation for retirees, practical advice on what not to do during the market downturn, options for what to do with an old 401(K), and the advantages of rolling it over into an IRA and seeking out financial advice.

Timely Blogs

The resource hub also features timely blogs like “Do’s and Don’t in a Volatile Market,” and “A Guide to the CARES Act for Americans Age 50 and Over,” which untangles what clients and prospects need to know about the new legislation. Promoting blogs and downloadable guides is an excellent way to attract leads to an advisor’s website through social media and email. Blogs can be promoted on site apart from the COVID-19 resource hub, and also accompany targeted Facebook ads and email templates that we’ve developed to accompany appropriate content.

Even as we begin to get “back to normal,” the effects of COVID-19 will still be felt, and people will want information on everything from their long-term financial outlook to how to be safe when social distancing is relaxed. Get in touch with us to learn more about how we’re helping advisors market themselves during the coronavirus crisis.
